I mistakenly ordered this instead of our November book club book! I checked it out anyway. I like gorgeous picture books and this one qualifies.
During WWII, Iceland was rationing lots of things but not paper. Giving books for Christmas became a really big deal. This is a lovely tradition! Moss' pictures are beautiful. Kilgore's words share that love of reading that is so important to so many people.
This is a delightful book! (And I was able to order the correct book on Libby for book club. Different author . . . )
